Wreck This Journal

Starting a new project this month that will take....not sure how long! But what would the online blogging community be if we didn't share different ideas with one another? Probably not so much fun and quite possibly not even exist! If you have currently not heard of or do not engage in activity with Grav3yardgirl (Bunny) on YouTube or Instagram, then you might want to start now. There are some people who don't like her but I personally find her absolutely hilarious and entertaining to watch. She posted a video last week on Wednesday about starting to do the Wreck This Journal after getting numerous suggestions for it. After watching the video, which you can watch here on her channel, I said to myself, "Self, this looks like a really super fun idea, you need to stop at the bookstore tomorrow after work and go get it." Which I totally did and maybe, perhaps, also bought another book with it (I swear I don't have a book buying problem along with my other addictions). Grav3yardgirl and myself have also gotten the lovely Nski Beauty to join in on the fun! And lucky for you guys that she's a highly experienced video maker (and I am not) we're going to make a video every couple of weeks to show you guys what we've done so far in our Wreck This Journals!

I went out and bought my Wreck This Journal at Barnes and Nobles which it was $15.00; you can buy it online here. I did also look at Amazon for it and they have more types of the journals there than online at B&N; this is the one I got. When looking at the different types of journals on Amazon I noticed that they are all extended versions of the original Wreck This Journal which means more wrecking for you to do! I've been documenting the destruction of my journal as I finished destroying pages and I'll have a post with those photos after the videos! It kills me as a book lover to ruin a perfectly good book but life is all about stepping out of your comfort zone every now and then, right? Going against what you're supposed to do is kind of run and rebellious as well. I've posted on my Instagram, which has its own nice little tab up top, a sort-of little sneak peek at one of the already done pages.

Friday's Outfit and Nails

 Well Friday is finally here, thankfully, and I've taken the day to dress decently comfy! Mornings are a little bit chilly so I usually go ahead and throw some leggings on because, well, why not? Fall is definitely legging season and I'm quite glad that it's here since they seem to be a very accepting piece of clothing to constitute as pants.

 

Out of my huge handful of legging selections, I've decided to go with my light gray ones today which are from Old Navy. I swear they are almost like legging heaven since they seem to always have a large number of them.  To cover my feet I have on my knee high boots that sometimes fall down and I'm pretty sure that I bought them at Carson's last fall. 

 

 

It may not be completely obvious yet but I am definitely a big Potter Head and Harry Potter fan and figured today would be a good day to wear my shirt. It's hard to tell from the picture what it says but it states that "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" and I got it from Hot Topic. Here is a link to the shirt in girls and here is one for the shirt in guys, just in case someone thinks they're guy friend, boyfriend, or husband needs to wear it!

 

 

 Lastly, today on my nails I am wearing OPI "Koala Bear-y" which I partly used because I love the name and because I haven't worn it in a while. It's a nice pink and I love that one coat could most likely be enough but I like adding two coats just in case. I got this from Ulta a few months ago along with a couple other nail polishes. No nail art on my nails for me today but I'm hoping to try out some velvet nails that my lovely friend Ann Marie from Nski Beauty tried out a little while ago! Definitely excited for that but I'm not sure how excited I'll be when I'm trying to clean up but we shall see!
